Influence of breathe to baroreceptor reflex
Humpolík, Tomáš ; Janoušek, Oto (referee) ; Kolářová, Jana (advisor)
This Master's thesis deals with the influence of breathe to baroreceptor reflex. The first chapter is focused on measuring of blood pressure, in reference to later used method. In the second part is detailed analysis and explanation of term baroreflex, relationship between frequency spectra of systolic blood pressure, heart rate and breathing, mechanisms of regulation of blood pressure and heart rate variability. Third chapter deals with possible ways, how to analyze data, which are needed for estimation of baroreflex sensitivity, analyze of heart rate variability and estimation of power spectral density. Next parts of this thesis is paid attention to technical equipment and methods of acqusition of data, using this equipmnent. Part of this work is also software application, which makes possible from the recorded data estimate baroreflex sensitivity.

Vybrané dechové techniky v józe a ve fyzioterapii a jejich vliv na léčbu vertebrogenních onemocnění
KŘEMENOVÁ, Martina
This bachelor's thesis deals with the topic of vertebrogenic disease and the influence of breathing techniques on the treatment of spinal disorders. Thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part of the bachelor's thesis is divided into seven chapters, in which the anatomy of the spine and chest and the deep stabilization system and its parts are described. The fourth and fifth chapters deal with vertebrogenic disorders and functional disorders, in which I focused on their most common manifestations. The last two chapters deal with the issue of breathing, its types and especially breathing techniques. The practical part of the thesis was elaborated in the form of qualitative research, which was carried out using case studies. I selected four patients with back pain, which I then divided into 2 groups. The first group practiced breathing techniques from yoga and the second group practiced breathing techniques from physiotherapy. I made an input and output kinesiology analysis for all probands. Subsequently, the results of the individual and both groups were evaluated. The aim of the bachelor's thesis was to describe the possibilities of breathing techniques and their influence on the treatment of functional disorders of the locomotor system. During the research, it was found that regular breathing exercises have a positive effect on the treatment of functional disorders of vertebrogenic disease.
Recurrent Airway Obstruction in Horses - causes, manifestations and treats disease
POTCLANOVÁ, Barbora
The topic of this bachelor thesis is the shortness of breath of horses. It is one of the most common diseases of horses. Shortness of breath of horses is also called Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) or RAO which stands for Recurrent airway obstruction. The research was undertaken by means of questionnaires that were filled in by owners and horse breeders who have horses that suffer from the disease. The research was carried out on forty horses which were of different age, breed and sex and also, they were stabled, fed and treated differently. The summary of thesis and the conclusion of seriousness of diseases and different treatments were based on the results and information needed. On the basis of the results it can be said that the disease most often affects horses between the age of 5. and 7. The disease is most influenced by the environment given that the symptoms of 32 horses decreased rapidly when surroundings were changed. Soaking hay is another way how to affect the development of the disease (59%) because the amount of dust is considerably lowered and the problems are alleviated. It was also demonstrated that in 42% of cases movement does not worsen the symptoms. On the other side, the symptoms improve in 18% of cases, which makes movement a good way to improve the health condition. The greatest deterioration occurs during the summer months due to high temperatures (above 25°C). The genetic predisposition also affects the disease in 20% of cases.
Comparative analysis of swimming technique
Laštiaková, Ema ; Jurák, Daniel (advisor) ; Hubená, Kristýna (referee)
Title: Comparative analysis of the swimming technique crawl Aim: The aim of this thesis is to perform a comparative analysis of the swimming technique crawl on a swimmer of younger school age. The comparison will focus on the different parts of the body that affect the efficiency of the movement. Another goal is to design and apply technical exercises to eliminate them based on the performed analysis and the detected errors and to perform an additional analysis of the correct technique. Methods: A comparison of the swimming technique crawl was performed for a proband of younger school age in the swimming pool in Tyrš's house. The swimming technique crawl was filmed from the left side under the surface, from the left side on the surface and then from the forehead on the surface. Subsequently, we analyzed the acquired data using Kinovea and the acquired footage was compared with the optimal model technique. Subsequently, we suggested suitable exercises to improve and correct the errors found. The filming took place in the beginning of 2022. After that, we performed the analysis of the obtained results. Results: The results of this work show that feedback to children through pictures, videos and verbal description has a significant positive effect on the change of crawl technique. Based on the...

Bulak, Patrik ; Vaňková, Irena (advisor) ; Janovec, Ladislav (referee)
Bachelor thesis is focused on the semantic sphere of breathing and respiration. It is based on theories and methods of cognitive-cultural approach to language. The next chapter brings examined semantic sphere based on data from interpretation, etymological dictionaries etc. The attention is drawn in particular on metaphor and metonymy, to which the data refer. The third chapter deals with the physical experience of breathing in its entirety (sensory perception of breathing and experiencing of own respiration). There is also outlined, how this experience base is projected into the language. The crucial chapter of the thesis presents the classification of the collected material of language: it shows which target domains are related to source domain of breathing and respiration on the metaphorical expressions excerpted from phraseological dictionaries in the form of idioms.
